PRP V-Shot for female sexual dysfunction.

What is the V-Shot?

The PRP V-Shot™ is an injectable treatment that addresses a variety of sexual problems for women. From painful intercourse to vaginal dryness to a low sex drive, there are many issues that interfere with sexual wellness. The PRP V-Shot™ was designed to help with these conditions using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your very own blood. Most women who have tried the PRP V-Shot™ are very happy with the results.

How the PRP V-Shot works

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) contains healing proteins called growth factors. We all have this plasma within our own blood. Used medically, these growth factors have been effective in combating joint pain and assisting in hair restoration. When used in conjunction with sexual health, it has also proven effective. When the platelet-rich plasma is injected into the clitoris, labia, and G-spot, these areas experience increased blood flow and new healthy tissue growth, which improves the growth of blood vessels and nerves in this area — and the more nerve growth, the more sensation you feel.

Treatment details

When you arrive for your PRP V-Shot™ in Indianapolis, a gentle numbing anesthetic will be applied to the vaginal area to help with any discomfort.

After this, a small amount of blood will be taken from your vein and will be placed inside a device to separate the red blood cells and impurities from the platelet-rich plasma.

Once the plasma is separated, it will be added into a syringe and injected into the numbed area. Every patient has a different pain tolerance, but most women report feeling only minor discomfort. The injection has been compared to the feeling of a pinch. Most V-Shot appointments last a half hour.

Recovery and Results

One of the best things about the V-Shot is that there’s no downtime. However, some women do experience minimal side effects, which may include a small amount of redness, swelling, sensitivity, and/or numbness for up to one week after treatment. Not everyone experiences these side effects, but if they do occur, they are very mild. With the V-Shot, everyone’s experience is different. For some women, the difference is immediately noticeable. For others, their results are felt over the course of a couple months. On average, results are noticed the first 3 to 7 days, with peak results occurring around three months.
