What are neuromodulator injections?
Botulinum toxin is considered to be one of the most potent neuromodulators. In small doses it proves to be an effective treatment option for various conditions. Injectors most commonly use wrinkle reducers in the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes. Botulinum toxin smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles resulting in a more youthful appearance. Medical providers also use Botulinum toxin to treat hyperhidrosis and chronic migraines.
Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators such as Botox and Xeomin are invaluable in restoring your skin’s resilience and reducing the effects of aging. When lines and wrinkles begin to appear in the face, there’s no denying it — gravity is taking its toll, and age is beginning to show. The reason neuromodulators are so popular is because they have the ability to effectively improve lines, wrinkles, and creases. They can also prevent future ones from developing. Because neuromodulators work beneath the skin, they target the source of your wrinkles, hence the reason they are often referred to as wrinkle reducers. This reduces muscle activity to smooth your skin, making you look and feel dramatically better.
Cost of treatment
The price of neuromodulators is priced per unit and not per syringe, as is the case with dermal fillers. The actual number of units required varies depending on the treatment area and the strength of the targeted muscles.
