What is a Regen Facial?
The Regen Facial™ is an advanced skincare treatment that combines microneedling with plasma rich in healing properties taken from the patient’s own blood. The procedure infuses the skin with plasma rich in growth factors, which speeds up the healing process and causes the production of collagen. How it works
Every human has growth factors. They are inside of platelets, which are inside of plasma. Plasma is inside of our blood. Growth factors are our body’s rescue team. To begin, when you arrive for your Regen Facial, the practitioner cleanses your skin and administers a topical cream, which minimizes any discomfort during microneedling.
Next, the practitioner draws a small amount of blood. She places the blood within a centrifuge and separates the healing properties from the red blood cells.
Finally, the practitioner draws the material into a syringe so that it can be included into the rest of your treatment. During the microneeedling treatment, the growth factors infuse into your skin. This means that there is no risk of an allergic reaction, as the treatment simply uses your own blood. The result is glowing skin that is healthy and radiant.
